Set Builder Assistant
The Set Builder Assistant is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Set Builder Lead and Carpenters in the construction and design of sets and scenery elements. This position is a RUN OF SHOW position.
Responsibilities -Responsible for the assembly and disassembly of temporary or basic sets and making corrections as needed
-Assists in painting newly constructed scenery sets and elements as instructed by Set Builder Lead and/or Scenery Designer Manager
-Utilizes hand tools as needed to help support the erection of forms, framework, scaffolds, to make bolt holes in timber and/or concrete, and to assemble and fasten material together
-Coordinates with the scenery crew to ensure timely assembly of different sets
-Works under the direct supervision of the Set Builder Lead and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
-Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios' infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures
-Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment
-Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader
-Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader
