The Role AspenTech is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer/Consultant within our Global Professional Services organization based as part of the AspenTech Russian operation in Moscow. The position will provide expert level consulting to various clients implementing our proprietary software packages (Aspen PIMS, Petroleum scheduler (Orion), Blend Optimizer (MBO) and Aspen DPO). The individual will be part of a team responsible for undertaking consulting and customer education services for AspenTech clients in Petroleum Planning, Scheduling and Blending primarily across the Russian Federation but with opportunity to engage in projects across Europe and internationally. Responsibilities:
* Deliver consulting (including define, implement, deliver and sustain), training services in support AspenTech clients in their implementation of AspenTech Petroleum Planning, Scheduling & Blending solutions * Be confident, capable and have the ability to become the technical lead on Planning, scheduling & blending projects * Coordinate with the AspenTech project manager and Client to ensure project achieves, or exceed, stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals. Identify and work with the AspenTech Project Manager to mitigate against potential for scope creep on implementation projects. * Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and open opportunity for additional Services * Work co-operatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, R+D etc. and with Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion * Assist the sales organization with technical presentations and client sales meetings Qualifications:
* BSc in an engineering discipline (prefer an advanced degree in either engineering or business) * 5+ years of experience in the corporate or operation planning or operation scheduling in Petroleum refining and/or Petrochemical business. * Experience with the implementation or use of AspenTech solutions for refinery planning (PIMS), petroleum scheduling (Orion) and blending (MBO) or equivalent solutions is highly desirable * Experience in , C++ Programming and fluency in working with MS Excel is a plus Other Requirements * Good communicator oral and written. * Team worker. * Happy to travel - 30 to 40% of time. * Fluency in both Russian and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
