Territory (if applicable): Corporate Business Unit: Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs. Position Purpose: This position will create and maintain system interfaces, extracting, translating and loading data between internal applications and externally to vendors and business partners. Candidates must have knowledge of, or be willing to learn, Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite. Candidates with a strong background in Java programming or other integration platforms will be considered.
Candidates must be willing to work under general supervision in a team environment, working closely with Business System Analysts to understand business requirements. Must be able to provide input to technical design estimates and technical specifications, identify and assist in establishing development standards, as well as develop appropriate systems documentation. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: 5-7 years of relevant work experience and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Required Competencies & Other Skills: Demonstrated understanding of application development principles. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on cross-functional project teams. Strong understanding of structured design, development, and implementation of new computing architectures. Preferred Experience & Education: Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, as well as Java certification preferred. Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle BPEL, Websphere, Mercator or WebMethods preferred.
