Major Duties Include: - Perform software engineering for powertrain controller unit. - Manage customer software requirements - Provide local expertise for software functions - Develop embedded controller software functional requirements - Coordinate software functional requirements with Bosch development team and the customer - Test and validate new software features on bench and in vehicle - Investigate and resolve system and software feature anomalies, including embedded hardware issues - Provide customer on-site support as needed - Initiate and/or participate in internal and customer program review meetings and design reviews
Minimum Job Requirements: *Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline. *3-5 Years work experience in Embedded Software Development *Good communication skills facilitating interaction with global software team *2 years experience with embedded control systems *Analyze/manage customer requirements and write specifications. *Good analytical skills, including analysis of existing code. Familiarity with software test and debug tools.
Preferred: * Bachelor of Science Degree in an Electrical or Computer Engineering discipline *Experience with automotive engine management systems or embedded control systems, e.g. chassis controller, transmission controller, etc).. * Experience with embedded controller hardware design.
