Pratt & Whitney Global EH&S is seeking a qualified environmental consultant with significant expertise in industrial waste, air and wastewater compliance, conservation and treatment technologies.
Pratt & Whitney Global EH&S organization is seeking a highly experienced environmental professional with extensive multi-media experience who is very knowledgeable in industrial wastewater management, treatment and permitting; storm water management; waste and water diversions; environmental management systems and associated regulatory compliance, preferably on an international basis The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to: (1) Provide technical support and regulatory updates to Pratt & Whitney sites world-wide on waste compliance management and waste conservation, (2) Lead P&W waste conservation efforts, including identification and successful completion of all aligned sustainability and EH&S strategic plan initiatives, and to provide oversight for associated program/process team to assist with the development of appropriate site level management systems; and (3) Lead pollution prevention / waste reduction / recycling initiatives; (4) Perform multi-media environmental compliance and management system audits, (5) Design systems and programs to minimize or eliminate waste impact on the environment; (6) Prepare standards and guidance documents that define P&W requirements and best management practices; and (7) Manage the EH&S aspects of the P&W' factory decommissioning & divestiture program.

Ten years experience in environmental compliance management with strong focus on waste compliance, and full understanding of waste storage, handling, recycling and disposal systems. Auditing, hazardous waste management and soil/groundwater remediation experience is a plus.
