Sr Market Development Manager - Pest Control & Turf Care
Territory (if applicable): Winfield Business Unit: Winfield Solutions is an industry leader in crop protection and farm seed products, providing insights an expertise in this area. Our brands include AgriSolutionsTM crop protection products and CROPLAN GENETICS® seed. Position Purpose: This position is responsible for strategy development and strategy execution to grow the Professional Products (Pest Control & Turf Care Chemicals) business, working in close collaboration with Winfield Solutions and Land O'Lakes, Inc. cross-functional resources. Specifically this role will drive three key growth activities - (a) Inorganic growth through acquisitions, (b) market and channel development for new products, (c) support the Sales leadership to drive acquisition of new sales people in target geographies. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: BA/BS in Business (Finance or Economics, Marketing) is required
10 years+ experience in Corporate/Business Development, Strategic Marketing or Strategy Consulting
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to interact well with customers, partners, employees and management of all levels
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking
Market research experience (marketing analytics, segmentation analysis and benchmarking)
Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines and delivers results
Project management skills and ability to multi-task Preferred Experience & Education: MBA or equivalent experience is preferred
