This position will work with our CRM development and business management teams to develop application code for the Autobase product. As such, we need a senior developer that will partner with the Development Manager and Development Leads in assisting with middle tier development planning and coding, in a manner that supports overall project delivery goals. Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Middle Tier .NET development per product requirements, assist with code reviews, participation in agile scrum methodology, and assure positive productivity toward business product goals Researches, designs, and writes software to specifications, either individually or as part of a team of other developers Works closely with business and IT management to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teams Works with internal business customers and IT analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts Enhances existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization or refactoring Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests Assists with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments Mentors junior developers in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts Acts in line with development management to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team Implementation of integration and enterprise design patterns Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways Interacts with IT and business senior management to solve business issues, leveraging data and databases as a tool Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task consistently and satisfactorily. Education and Experience This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience comprised of 6-8 years of relative work history. Experience in the following technologies and competencies are essential: Advanced experience with a variety of the following: C# .NET, , XML, Dependency Injection Frameworks (ie. Castle Windsor), Object Relational Mappers (ie. NHibernate), SOAP and REST protocols Strong relational database knowledge with experience in SQL Server 2005, 2008, T-SQL, stored procedures and user-defined functions Experienced with commonly used concepts, practices, patterns, and procedures of enterprise software development (ie. MVC, IOC/DI, Repository, UML artifacts) Intermediate experience with web services (ie. WCF), enterprise search (ie. SOLR) and enterprise caching (ie. Memcached) Familiar with infrastructure support of Windows Server, Linux, and IIS7. Familiar with Windows Workflow Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation. These include physical demands such as lifting computers and or monitors, work days that will typically exceed eight hours. Travel may be required.
