Primary Accountabilities: * Develop and implement testing techniques, plans, and scripts to sufficiently test the functionality and load capacity of new and existing applications by working with information technology personnel and business users and utilizing appropriate quality assurance tools and techniques* Modify and maintain manual and automated test scripts, as required, to accommodate new software releases of target applications* Provide performance and functional test results on the test and production application systems to allow information technology personnel to make informed and knowledgeable application and database upgrades* Participate in the development of guidelines and standards for all existing and future, applications, databases, and systems* In conjunction with other information technology teams, design and maintain a monitoring framework that monitors all production systems and applications as well as alert production application owners and teams as appropriate* You may direct or perform activities which include but are not limited to obtaining requirements for and performing capacity testing, obtaining and analyzing systems performance data, and evaluating targeted application user interfaces* Prepare activity and progress reports for software quality assurance activities and provide status reports to information technology management as required or apparent* Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesThe successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * The successful candidate will have 3-8 or more years of in-depth experience developing, maintaining, and executing LoadRunner scripts along with a solid understanding and a demonstrated application of test methodologies including compilation of Test Plans, reporting of test results, and diagnosis of defects to root cause in a Waterfall and Agile Development environment* You will have a passion for software and systems testing and be a determined, results focused individual that will passionately and assertively represent the customer and quality concerns* Testing and software quality will have been your career choice and you will be able to demonstrate a determined dedication to improving yourself, the processes you work with, and the products you support* You will be able to compile complex, risk based Test Plans then execute these plans completely and correctly, while keeping your customers fully informed, your developers focused on defect resolution, and the project on a timely completion Additional Skills: * BAC and the use of LoadRunner / Topaz scripts to monitor and measure service availability* HP SiteScope to monitor key system parameters* Experience using Quality Center and QTP For consideration, please send your resume to Paul Montoya at today!
