Job Summary: this project entails integrating genomic information from diverse sources such as GWASin vivolipid and inflammatory response marker phenotypes, andin vitrocellular phenotypes such as whle genome expression arrays, transcriptome analysis and protein measurements. POSITION Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have an MS with a background in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, or genetics. At least two years of previous experience working with complex genome-wide datasets is essential, along with a solid understanding of the statistical tools and models required to analyze genoma-wide data. Knowledge/Skills:Previous work with GWAS, microarray, RNAseq and/or metabolomic data analysis is particularly desired. Applicants shoul dhave excellent organization and communication skills, as well as the specific qualifications described for the individual projects. The applicant will be expected to critically analyze and report research findings in major journals and national meetings.
