Description:
The Environmental Services Supervisor will provide leadership and motivation to the employees within the department. They will orchestrate the duties and responsibilities of specific Environmental Services Workers on the day and evening shifts assuring continual departmental coverage providing a clean, orderly and attractive hospital facility. The Environmental Services Supervisor works with hospital staff,, doctors and nursing staff, outside vendors and people in the community. The Environmental Services Supervisor should possess well developed skills in interpersonal relationships and have the knowledge and ability to perform cleaning tasks and the ability to train others.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous environmental service/housekeeping supervisory experience of 3 years or more in Hospital Setting
Ability to work well with staff both within and outside the department
