Major duties include: - Key technical customer interface, support for customer series project and/or lead for customer studies - Responsible for Sensor Data Fusion - Collect, evaluate and negotiate customer requirements - Perform and/or Recommend SW/logic changes - Define and document test cases/strategy - Extensive debugging/troubleshooting utilizing customer tools, as well as more generic tools (Vector) - Analyze and document test data/results - In vehicle and lab performance calibration of radar sensor based algorithms to meet both objective & subjective customer & Bosch performance specifications - Project handling and project documentation according to specified processes - Perform vehicle performance release procedures
Minimum Requirements Include: - BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree - Interest in innovative embedded automotive systems - Strong SW related work experience, 2+ experience in C-code - Comfortable with test activities in vehicles - Flexible, willing to travel (4-6 weeks/year) & participate in test drives - Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative - Capable of multitasking, hands-on, fast learner and capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion
Desired: - Knowledge in automotive techniques, vehicle dynamics, control theory, troubleshooting and computer skills (especially measurement technology) - Experience with planning, conducting, evaluation & documentation of test results - Experience with Matlab based simulation environment - Experience with vehicle integration of Driver Assistance systems - Experience with driver assistance application (e.g. Blind-Spot-Detection) system - Familiar with Vector tools - German language skills is a plus
