Major Job Duties Include: -Key technical customer interface, support/lead for customer studies -Understand given complex software and system architectures -Collect, evaluate and negotiate customer requirements -Define and document test cases/strategy -Extensive debugging/troubleshooting utilizing customer tools, as well as more generic tools (Vector) -Analyze and document test data/results -Recommend logic changes for performance issues that cannot be solved via parameter changes alone -In vehicle and lab performance calibration of radar sensor based algorithms to meet both objective & subjective customer & Bosch performance specifications -Project handling and project documentation according to specified processes -Perform vehicle performance release procedures
Minimum Requirements Include: -BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree -Interest in innovative embedded automotive systems -Strong SW related work experience, capable to understand C-code and make small software change -Comfortable with test activities in vehicles -Flexible, willing to travel (4-6 weeks/year) & participate in test drives -Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative -Capable of multitasking, hands-on, fast learner and capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion
Desired: -Knowledge in automotive techniques, vehicle dynamics, control theory, troubleshooting and computer skills (especially measurement technology) -Experience with planning, conducting, evaluation & documentation of test results -German language skills is a plus -Experience with driver assistance rear application (e.g. Blind-Spot-Detection) system is a plus -Familiar with Vector tools -Automotive/embedded system work experience
