Systems Analyst II Dept Apps (Operative Services)

Formulates/defines IT application scope and performance objectives that reflect an understanding of applicable business systems, department business practices, and industry requirements. Functions as first level response for the development and modification of department IT application and des department management in the use of IT applications to maximize department performance and management decision making. Maintains system documentation. Functions as a liaison to IS, other department system analysts and vendors.
Experience Requirements : Two to four years of IT experience in a similar clinical or technical department preferably in a health care environment. Demonstrated ability to support the IT application's utilized to maximize the performance of the assigned department. Experience implementing and supporting applications such as McKession PHS/HSM or similar clinical OR system or Endosoft.
Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Related Field or equivalent work experience. Prefer BSN.
Licensure/Certification Requirements : Hours of Work : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
