Tax Manager needed for prominent foreign Bank
Tax Manager with experience in a foreign/domestic bank needed to join prominent foreign Bank based in Manhattan.
The job responsibilities will include the following:
You will be responsible for US tax planning and compliance for the bank as well as providing general finance support.
Assisting with research for tax strategies. In particular, your knowledge in reference to corporate tax laws will be strength and will be utilized daily.
Review and analyze corporate tax filings.
Extensive experience in ASC 740-10 (FAS 109 and FIN 48) Tax Accruals & Tax Consulting at a higher level. Experience in 1065 Tax Returns, REIT Taxation, Partnership Taxation, Real Estate Taxation and Trust Taxation.
Maintenance and accounting of the New York branch’s fixed assets.
Tax effect accounting for the NY branch.
Capability to lead and develop their team.
Requirements
To qualify, you must possess:
7 + years of experience in a foreign/domestic bank.
Bachelor's degree required/CPA qualified.
Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (MS Office 2010 preferred)
