 Deloitte Tax LLP helps companies understand national, state and local, and international tax structures and align the tax function with business objectives. Position Summary: Deloitte Taxs Multistate Tax Services ("Multistate Tax") team is the largest state and local tax practice in the United States, with more than 1,000 professionals nationwide. These professionals include former state tax auditors and administrators, industry personnel, tax practitioners, accounting specialists, and technology personnel with numerous years of multistate tax experience. Collectively, our team has significant experience with the requirements and nuances of jurisdictions in all 50 states. Multistate Tax professionals help our clients manage state tax liability and such challenges as states with unique tax laws, the enforcement focus of state departments of revenue, the growing number of tax audits, and increased merger and acquisition activity. Our specific services include business restructuring, credits and incentives, sales and use tax, sales and use tax outsourcing, property tax, state income and franchise tax, state strategic tax review, and state tax controversy. Position SummaryDeloitte Taxs Multistate Tax Services ("Multistate Tax") State Strategic Tax Review (SSTR) team is part of the largest state and local tax practice in the United States, with more than 1,000 professionals nationwide. These professionals include former state tax auditors and administrators, industry personnel, tax practitioners, accounting specialists, and technology personnel with numerous years of multistate tax experience. Collectively, our team has significant experience with the requirements and nuances of jurisdictions in all 50 states. Multistate Tax professionals help our clients manage state tax liability and such challenges as states with unique tax laws, the enforcement focus of state departments of revenue, the growing number of tax audits, and increased merger and acquisition activity. Our specific services include business restructuring, credits and incentives, sales and use tax, state income and franchise tax, state strategic tax review, and state tax controversy. We are currently seeking Multistate Tax Managers to join our SSTR group with a focus on statutory credits and negotiated incentives. Multistate Tax Managers use their experience in accounting and taxation to provide consulting services to corporate and, in some instances, individual clients. Candidates must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients tax requirements. Multistate Tax Managers in this position will have the opportunity to identify, develop, pursue, and secure state and local credit and incentives for our clients. Responsibilities include:  overseeing complex tax projects for clients in diverse industries; participating in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates; researching and analyzing a wide range of tax issues and tax tistate Tax Managers have responsibility for the development and motivation of the engagement team and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They should have extensive technical knowledge and relevant experience with credits and incentives.
