Technical Services Representative
Cody Systems has been providing law enforcement records management software solutions and services to local, state and federal clients for over 30 years and is looking for technical service representatives for its growing team of support personnel.
Duties will include the following:
Field general support phone calls and emails regarding our software solutions during standard business hours
Assist clients with troubleshooting Cody application and general hardware issues
Conduct server moves / migrations
Implement / Install / Update products
Remotely support clients with resolving issues
Perform internal testing and maintenance tasks
Interface with project management, sales and support staff to complete tasks as assigned
Provide emergency support to clients after hours on a rotating schedule
Document issues in our internal ticketing system
Requirements:
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems.
Knowledge of object oriented databases (Oracle/MS SQL) with SQL experience.
Experience with PC hardware, peripherals and devices.
Professional experience in a public safety related arena.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High degree of computer related skills and knowledge.
One to three years experience in troubleshooting issues, problem solving and customer service.
Associates level degree or higher in related field (although not required)
