With four locations in the U.S., the Packaging Technology Division specializes in addressing the processing and packaging applications in the food, confectionery and pharmaceutical industries. Job Description : This position is responsible for technical manual preparation from concept to completed publication. This position will: create technical manuals for customer ordered machines by gathering information from engineers and assembly personnel, take photographs and prepare supporting illustrations for manuals, assemble complete electronic files for reproduction into manuals, coordinate printing, assembly and delivery of completed publication, implement document changes by using various desktop publishing tools, data management systems, word processing software and graphics, write copy for nameplates, decals and information tags, produce manuals from records for legacy machines, coordinate language translations for manuals as necessary and maintain database of manual shipment dates and content. Job Requirements : Minimum job requirements include: a minimum of five years capital equipment technical writing experience; experience with Pagemaker, InDesign and Microsoft Office products; proven written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage work within a deadline driven environment. Preferred requirements include: knowledge of PhotoImpact, SAP and Solidworks; experience with Bosch packaging equipment.
