Telecommunications Engineer-G/U Voice Core/ Ericsson Support/Technical Problems
Global Telecommunications client needs Ericsson Technical Support Engineers for their Texas location. Responsible for providing analysis and resolution of highly complex technical problems related to the installation, testing and/or operation of Ericsson?s G/U Voice Core products for customers or field employees. Must know Ericsson/Nortel Infrastructure. Need 7+ years experience. Need candidates near Texas, desire to move just wanting to get back home. These are 6-12 month long contract assignments.
Responsibilities:
-> Trouble shoot issues with G/U Voice Core products (VSE, MGW, RNC, ERS8600, AN)
-> Will be active in problem consultation, isolation, verification, resolution, documentation and status reporting
-> May serve as a technical resource to other departments and consults on most complex technical support issues
-> This is an Ericsson customer support position
Requirements:
-> Excellent knowledge of Ericsson G/U Voice Core products (VSE, MGW, RNC, ERS8600, AN)
-> Excellent IP Troubleshooting Skills (Certification a must)
-> Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required
-> Excellent team player and able to work in high pressure situations
-> Willingness to perform on-site support as needed
-> Willingness to work night shift
