Transportation Sales
PALOS GARZA is a premier provider of transportation (MEX/USA/CAN). As a member of PG, you will put your sales skills to work everyday to provide shipping and logistics solutions to customers in your protected sales territory. You will meet daily with customers at their facilities and be a consultant to them. You will ask questions and solve challenges pertaining to their shipping and receiving needs.
Description of Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and develop relationship with existing customers using phone, email, and face to face contact.
- Ability to develop relationships vertically and horizontally within a customer.
- Grow market share with new and existing customer.
- Exceed quotas and achieve quarterly bonus payments.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers based on buying behavior knowledge and the ability to differentiate PG from its competitors.
- Collaborate with services center personnel to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of customer activity and expenses.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 3 years sales experience in FTL transportation (Dry, Reefer)
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of sales success, great customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including basic computer skills and familiarity tihe Microsoft office products.
- Ability to ask questions, listen carefully and understand customer's true needs.
- Ability and willingness to track sales activity and write sales reports weekly.
- Effective managements and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns.
- Experience with border crossing process in Mexico and Canada preferred.
Salary range: US$1,500.00 / US$ 2,500.00 per week
