Vice President, Creative Director

  • Oversee creative direction of all daily on-air promotion, launch and image campaigns including graphic design for promos and show packaging.
  • Responsible for the daily management of creative deliverables from internal and external vendors, ensuring creative integrity, accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Supervise an internal staff of writers/producers/editors, graphic designers, promo scheduling and operations personnel as well as external creative agencies.
  • Plan and manage promotion budgets.
  • Develop yearly promotion planning calendars.
  • Work closely with programming, executive producers, talent, marketing and affiliate services department on all creative service-related issues.
  • Manage all operations functions and production-related issues (department infrastructure, delivery schedules, logistics, etc.).
  • Manage department personnel issues, including hiring and maintaining staff.
  • Work with programming and marketing to develop direction of special development and sales projects/presentations.
  • Work with creative services team to oversee all graphics and design issues.
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Excellent creative abilities, production sense and aesthetic judgment.
  • Strong hands on editing and design skills highly desired.
  • Minimum 5 years as Creative Director in television marketing; experience with innovative promotion.
  • Strong creative writing and communication skills, great creative instincts and an in-depth understand of television production techniques.
  • Extensive experience with developing effective creative campaigns which utilize all methods of production.
