Job Description
Our Pittsburgh area office seeks an experienced Wetlands and Ecological Assessment Manager to handle all aspect of wetlands ecological assessment and restoration Pennsylvania wetlands and ecological assessment regulation knowledge is required Responsibilities: * Handles a variety of projects that may include wetland characterizations / delineations, habitat restoration, endangered species assessments, and biological resource evaluations * Oversees field assessments, conducts monitoring studies, and performs field surveys * Authors technical reports and creates related figures / maps / drawings * Manages applicable permit application and approval process
Skills/Requirements
* BS or MS degree (Geo, Env Sci, Engr or related) * 5-10+ yrs of related experience. Experience conducting wetlands and ecological assessment in the Marcellus Shale region is a big plus * Pennsylvania wetlands and ecological assessment regulation knowledge is required * Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, and client service skills * Professional certification a plus * Drug/Alcohol Screening and a Background Check are required Our comprehensive benefits program includes: medical, dental, vision, prescription, 401k, FSA, STD, LTD, New Parent Leave, 529 CollegeBound Fund, Tuition Assistance, Bonus Plan, and more.
