Wire Manufacturing Worker Positions Available Atlantic Personnel Services is Accepting Applications: Temp - Temp-to-Hire - Direct Hire Experience operating rewind, saw and forming machines in wire production. Must be able to work night shift Job Duties May Include: Setting up and operating rolling mill to reduce or form nonferrous metal into flat wire of specified dimensions. Adjusting rollers, buffs, and guides according to size and dimensions of work instructions using screw downs, micrometer, and hand tools. Turning valves and observes gauges to regulate flow, temperature, and solution of roll lubricants and metal coolants. Operating one or more tinning machines that coat wire with corrosion-resistant material. Lifting and mounting coils of wire on feed reels. Threading end of wire through series of guides, rollers, wipers, and tanks and secures it to rewind reel. Moving levers to heat coating material to molten consistency and set specified temperature of fluxing, cooling, and cleaning baths. Adjusting machine settings to regulate thickness of coating, according to specifications. Welding coils of wire together, using butt-welder, to maintain continuous wire coating operation. Performing quality checks of end product by means of tensile tester and X-Ray machine and recording results in quality database. Climbing/lifting up to 50 pounds Apply Today!
