The following are my responsibilities as Construction Manager
Invoices, CR's, VO's, E1, E2 procurement logs, contract amendments, mid construction cost negotiations,
analysis of proposed change es•••••ates which are related to package. Utilize the other disciplines for
assistance.
Coordinate with the other Phase managers and CM's as the various projects need integration i.e. utilities,
roads etc. Responsible for supporting utilities and advise when connections are needed.
Primary reporting authority to update the project team and the client as to the status of the work.
Schedule monitoring. Track and monitor the package schedules and advise of progress.
Take the necessary actions if corrections or recovery is needed in the project schedule
Take the lead coordination position for IT infrastructure and other items being provided by the client
Responsible for embedded tenders needed to complete the work.
Project safety. Utilize safety manager for council and advice.
Project quality control. Utilize safety manager for council and advice.
Respond to project queries from the client or other party. The CM has the primary duty to answer.
Keep any post tender design issue on track and to advise if there is any effect the construction schedule.
Take the primary lead on all project communication. Advise the client, contractor, or consultants when
decisions are needed.
Provide Tender support during the tender period. Opine on tender package and contribute to the review of
drawings, Division 1, and scope of work descriptions.
Manage the supervision consultants.
