Electronics Skills:
Theory and component level servicing of electronic equipment including AM, FM and stereo receivers, and black / white, color televisions.
Servicing of plasma televisions, DLP televisions, projection screens.
Training in use of digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, high and low voltage power supplies and audio and video test equipment.
Microprocessor principles and applications, peripheral interfaces including input and output and control devices.
Theory of two way communications including AM / FM, telephone systems and FCC rules and regulations.
Cabling:
Experience running CAT 5 and CAT 6 and coaxial cable.
Assembly of phone/video cable including straight through and cross over.
Punch down on a ••••• block and ••••• block and terminating CAT 5 to a ••••• block.
Experience and training in conduit.
