Project list
San Antonio – when working for my father, we did a lot of concrete work countless slabs, two emergency runways on Kelly air force base As well as four new barracks. Also we built five Exxon gas stations.
When working for W.F. Castella we did very large subdivisions such as Longs Creek, Silver brook, Creek side well as the completion of the ••••• hwy project.
Dallas- when working for Salter eng. I did a lot of title surveys when we were waiting for our next
Pipeline to start, Which is what the main bulk of our work was we used G.P.S. for miles and miles
of pipeline. To be located for depth, direction, size of pipe, type of pipe and weather or not they are leaking.
Austin- when working for Ranger I did the dirt work on South park meadows, Arbor walk, San
Clemente, AMD south, H.P. central, HEB Kyle,HWY. •••••, Lake Travis High School, And numerous
Small projects as well.
When working for Zapalac Reed I did the layout for San Clemente’s five story building and five story Parking garage as well as the site work from utilities to BOC I did it all. And kept the job on target and within budget without incident. I also did several tilt wall jobs that were very large the smallest building was about •••••’ long •••••’ wide and all had drilled piers.

I have knowledge of the principles and practices of professional land surveying as well as knowing the land survey terminology and chaining procedures.I also have reviewed contractor technical submittals. Reviewed drawings and coordinated with discipline engineers where needed, and ensure reviewable drawings are available to all parties. Coordinated with contract supervisors to assure the required technical submittals are obtained from contractors. Participated in final inspection and prepared “punch lists”. Participated in the preparation of technical features of field change requests and change Orders. Supervised quantity take-offs. I have the ability to perform mathematical computations using algebra, geometry and trigonometry to compile raw survey data, read construction plans and surveys and to make calculations using architectural/engineering scales as well as perform and close horizontal and vertical control traverses within acceptable tolerances. Monitored sub contractor inspection programs and Quality control programs, reviewed contractors’ monthly invoices, drawings and O&M Manuals as well and monitored as-builts. Prepared daily reports and weekly logs for each Subcontractor. Reviewed all construction material testing and reviewed, evaluated the Testing results. I have established and maintained effective internal and external working relationships.

On this project I was the number two field eng. I was responsible for the precast of the building I also did the embed layout for all of the panels, I did shear wall layout as well when I was not busy with precast. Even though the job had been going for ••••• months, I was able to catch up quickly and fit right in.

I did all of the site layout for a five story building shear walls and five story parking garage poured in place walls ••••• +, detention ponds walls, roads, and light poles. I created all points that were to be set out either on the office computer or out in the field on my data collector. I always had to make sure ••••• men always had something to do. I set out every benchmark on the site for vertical control. I also have done several very ••••• + tilt wall jobs as well the slabs for each of the buildings.

Working for Ranger I had a company truck F••••• 4x4 that I was responsible for as I had 5 to
6 job sites going at any one time. I had two men working underneath me to get our task
done in a timely manner. We used the Leica robotic total station and the Carlson software
on a Panasonic tough book. Did the entire layout for large earth moving machines to do
Wal-Mart shopping centers, HEB shopping centers, the shops at Arbor Walk, and south
Park Meadows. This is just a small list of projects I worked on while at Ranger.

and at the end of the day, I checked all surveys before sending them to the home office in
Wichita Falls. We did almost all grass roots construction on subdivisions from the prelim.

When I first started with my father I did not know anything about surveying but my father put
me with one of the best surveyors he had ever hired. When I first started I learned OLD
SCHOOL with just a transit and ••••• chain and calculator a year and half later we moved to
data collectors and total stations. We had a contract with Texaco to do all of their gas
stations in Texas. Also had a government contract to build barracks and two parking lots
and also did several frontage roads. At any one time we had ••••• or more projects going on, that we had 8 or more guys working on that we had to keep busy as well.
