RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
More than 5 years of bioresearch experience at CTBR, a contract toxicological research facility, has instilled in me a strong understanding of GLP, GCP, SOPs, FDA regulations (CFR-Title •••••) and ICH guidelines, and has prepared me well for a career in this fast-paced yet meticulous environment.
Experience was gained via auditing of all raw data from biochemistry reports, clinical signs, medical examination records (where a thorough understanding of medical terminology was required) to histology and pathology reports.
I am eager to learn and I am confident I can excel at any stage in the clinical trials process.
The degree program in molecular biology has trained me with sufficient technical experience in advanced molecular lab techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation and sequencing, cloning, protein engineering, cell culture, and multiple detection and analysis assays. Critical analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of medical literature was stressed throughout my education.
My extracurricular studies were also geared toward career development and focused on bioethics, medical biostatistics, epidemiology, pre-clinical and clinical trials design, conduct, evaluation and reporting (including case reports, case studies, cohort studies etc.)
My internship at the Armand Frappier Institute as a member of the gene therapy team developing DNA vaccines for cancer and autoimmune disease has confirmed my desire to study with and work alongside others sharing the same vision of advancing medicine.
My objectives in creating a more effective level of preparedness within my community regarding deliberate and accidental disease outbreaks via my documentary and public awareness seminars has helped me realize my leadership skills, my pleasure of public speaking, my proficiency in interpersonal relations, as well as how to meet deadlines!
