This is my letter of application for a position with your company. I have been working full time in the oilfield industry for seven years in Fort Nelson, BC. During this time I have worked for: Peak Energy, Formula Powell and Apex Oilfield – which I am currently employed with. In working with these companies, I have attained an extensive knowledge concerning all aspects of the customer service process. Previous to that, I have worked with Rogers Cable for approximately five years as a cable technician.
Over the course of my employment with Apex Oilfield, Formula Powell and Peak Energy my positions were oilfield related. I have worked in positions with Peak Energy and Formula Powell that required extensive physical labor while working on rental equipment in both the field and yard levels. Forklift and Loader work was very common. Heavy lifting of products, equipment, pails and pallets was mandatory. Loading and unloading of trucks for storage, as well as, product restacking and yard cleanup was part of the daily duties. I have also been responsible for the shipping and receiving of all inventories. I very much enjoy physical work and working with a wide array of situations. My first job in Fort Nelson was a laborer for a private contractor in metal sheeting of commercial buildings. I worked for him for four months. I quickly gained enough knowledge to be left on my own to complete metal projects within that construction. I have all oilfield certifications – first aid, WHMIS, forklift and loader etc. I am enthusiastic and willing to do this job with diligence. I have lived in Fort Nelson, BC for some time now and I am in need of a change. I am moving to Fort McMurray very soon and I hope you consider me for this position.

Apex Oilfield Services - Aug. ••••• to present:
Duties include: sales and marketing of oilfield rental equipment to drilling companies I am responsible to setup, service and clean equipment both in the field and yard areas. I have to give price quotes to potential customers. As well, I am on call for the company handling all customer needs and concerns.
Formula Powell - ••••• to •••••:
Duties included: dispatching drilling mud products to oil company drilling rigs in the field, customer billing, truck driver and yard staff scheduling, inventory control and supplier issues. As well as being a part of the branch an safety committees to oversee everyday company issues This position also incorporated ••••• hour on call service to the customer, as well as, extensive computer use.

Duties included: solids control technician and dispatcher. The solids technician position required me to be in an on call rotation with other employees, as well as, long workdays and a lot of physical labor work. I serviced rental equipment in the branch and field. The dispatcher position required me to perform all aspects of equipment delivery, billing, document control and staff scheduling. There was also the on call aspect of the job.

Duties included: to install cable service to new and existing residences, as well as, businesses. I was responsible for service and troubleshooting of customer problems. Digital box service install and setup. Assist maintenance crew on trunk work. Install internet service for residences and businesses. Tier adjustment and customer service terminations – irate customer handling.
