At Goodwill I lead a team of eight employees and help manage the residential facility as well as provide quality care to residential consumers. I am in charge of ordering meds, preparing information and attending PCP meetings and quarterly client reviews, financial planning for consumers and handling expenses for the Birchwood residence. I am the safety team leader and conduct as well as prepare all monthly safety inspections I am responsible for accurately completing state forms, incident reports, and logging and tracking billable hours. I answer phones; fax important documents coordinate and attend medical appointments and am currently attending Leadership University through Goodwill Industries.
Education Technician/ George J. Mitchell Elementary

As an Ed Tech I was responsible for following a child’s individual educational requirements and programs in an elementary school setting. I assisted with physical and occupational therapy requirements as well as individual behavioral plans. I was responsible for being a positive role model and assisted in teaching life skills such as toileting and feeding. I taught children English and communicating techniques with the SPIRE and PECS programs. I was responsible for completing government Medicaid forms daily and maintaining the children’s confidentiality. I also completed office duties such as faxing, copying, collating, and answering telephones.
Child Care Worker/ Spurwink

Behavior management was my main responsibility at Spurwink; I performed physical holds in correspondence with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention program. I taught hygiene skills, life skills and assisted children on community outings. I followed detailed individual behavior and educational plans and facilitated life space interviews. I was responsible for meal preparation, facilitated and supervised on-campus family/client visits. I complied with state regulations, completed daily documentation, milieu logs and incident reports.
