The $••••• Million 2,•••••slot parlor is on the former Sun Ship Site in Chester, PA. Engaged to develop the program and create the initial masterplan to fit the 5/8†mile standard bred horse racing track, •••••,••••• GSF gaming floor, racing terrace and clubhouse, 3,••••• car parking garage and ••••• horse paddock on ••••• acres; a very significant challenge. The solution involved overlapping and stacking programs vertically in the former ship assembly building. As both the design and project manager from inception, developing the conceptual design and documentation thru on site construction administration, the program was built on time and under budget by $••••• million. The fast track design, multiple packaged documentation, and accelerated construction could only occur by being organized and keen to the driving forces.

The $••••• million dollar expansion involved re-themeing the former casino while providing expansion space for 2,••••• slots and ••••• table games. The new space also included new restaurants, main bank, administration and focal bar. The major expansion combined the glamour of •••••â€™s Hollywood with the ageless quality of desert elements such as fire and water.
A firewall and water column surrounded by sculpted hillside forms and decorative lighting symbolized the desert and mountainside. A colorful palette of desert hues blend with wood, stone, glass and stainless steel recalling the futuristic optimism that put Palm Springs on the map. The conceptual design, project management & construction administration were all under my direction.
Isle of Capri, Hotel, Pool + SPA, Bossier City, LA
A •••••room casino resort hotel with whirlpool baths transformed the guest experience from bland to the branded “Isle Style†so accustom by their clientele. The extensive site masterplanning included a new entry promenade and bridges to re-align the site to maximize efficiency. The hotel is complete with a Conference Center, Health Club, SPA and outdoor pool deck capable to support weddings. The project transformed the riverboat casino on a very tight site into a resort destination. Overlapping building programs and the use of tunnels on the site accomplished clear organization.
