The Seasonal Park Police Officer position was disbanded this year (•••••) and replaced with the Public Safety Park Ranger position. My primary duties are the safety of park patrons and enforcement of the NYS Park Rules & Regulations. I am certified in CPR/AED & First Aid. I use a mountain bike, ATV, and patrol car during my patrol assignments. I attended a •••••hr training period from May ••••• and received my NYS Security Guard Training Certificate.

Upon completion of the Monroe County Police Academt, •••••/•••••, I was assigned to road patrol. I worked in several different sections until my promotion to sergeant, •••••/••••• My specific duties and responsibilities were as follows: Provide leadership & training to subordinates to insure that all assignments were conducted properly; provide roll-call training; maintenance of discipline and positive morale among subordinates; handle lieutenants duties in his/her absence as directed; proper conduct of personnel assigned to my supervision; effective & efficient direction to subordinate officers and supervisory duties in arrest situations; review, correction, and approval of all reports initiated by subordinates; evaluate performance of assigned personnel and implementing individual programs for correcting personnel deficiencies; review & recommendation of findings on completed Professional Standards Section investigations on platoon personnel; recommending disciplinary penalties where applicable. I also had training and experience in narcotics investigations as both an officer and supervisor.
