I consider myself very versatile when it comes to learning new concepts. I have a good understanding of the AutoCad drafting program. I have an Associates Degree in Technical Studies-Mechanical Drafting. The first version I used was Release ••••• was when I started drafting back in high school. Job duties included but not limited to, correcting markups on electrical schematics for magazine printing presses and finishing machines in AutoCad format. Also editing plant layout drawings and organizing machine files are common duties. I have measured in and drawn equipment and objects in the plant. I’ve also been required to locate electric panels and show their locations on plant layout. There have also been several other small duties performed here.

Surveyor’s Assistant: Field Crew
I was hired here initially to be a draftsman, but they started me out on the field crew to get a better understanding of surveying principles. I started to enjoy field work and they liked my work. So I stayed in the field for the duration of the job. Job duties included but not limited to, operating survey measuring instruments such as Total Stations and Levels, operating prism pole, range pole, etc. Working on a wide range of different types of surveys including plot plans, construction staking, mortgage inspections, topographies, and pinning footings. I also acquired a small amount of civil drafting experience during this period.
