Entrepreneur of Earth Mama Herbs, Bishop Hill, Illinois
First started in ••••• I created and operated Earth Mama Herbs from my home while raising my children. Products have been presented and sold at various farm-related functions including Walnut Grove Farm during the Spoon River Drive and Bishop Hill during Jordbruksdagarna. I made presentations on herbs and aromatherapy at various community groups including gardening clubs and womens groups in Henry and Stark County. This venture included product development, marketing and all business procedures.

I was part of an exciting opportunity on the cutting edge of healthcare. My position included meetings and intake with clients; meetings with therapists to develop individual plans for therapies and then guide and support the clients through the biological therapies. Creation of organizational tools while managing the clinic; procurement of European healing devices; ordering and managing of the natural products; educating clients on the various therapies and products; supporting the naturopathic physician administratively and organization of healing events and workshops for the community.

As an associate I provided administrative support to the manager and education team focusing on marketing and sales development. My strength was working as a liaison between the sales development manager and district/regional managers in the field to keep communication open and vital. My duties included planning and management of large promotional events, in-house training and team-building events. I developed and rolled out to associates nationally a meeting planners kit to aid in planning and management of large events.

Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant
Legal assistant/secretary to senior partner specializing in corporate law. Heavy client contact in the process of incorporation and managing corporate minute books. Production of legal forms and correspondence. Executive assistance for Mr. Colmars business and political pursuits as well as his corporate law practice.

Horticulturist and Landscaping Supervisor, Karen Morby Horticulturist, Chicago
Supervision of installation and maintenance of landscapes in affluent areas of Chicago and the North Shore. My accounts included Michigan Avenues One Magnificent Mile establishments such as Burberrys, Cartiers and Saks Fifth Avenue. I was very involved in employee and public relations representing a woman-owned horticultural business focusing on very affluent clients. Applicators license required for spraying at residential and commercial sites including OHare. Seasonal installations at major commercial sites including Carsons on State Street.
