INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Consulting Team Leader Social Entrepreneurship, College of Wooster, OH (Spring •••••)
Purpose: To develop a business plan for the Information Technology (IT) department to establish an electronic waste management program.
Team included four students and one advisor.
Kept the team on track and ensured that the deadlines are met.
Communicated weekly with the Executive Director of the IT.
Presented the developed business plan to the six-member board of IT.

Consultant Applied Mathematics Research Experience, College of Wooster, OH (Summer •••••)
Purpose: To evaluate credit-based insurance models of Progressive Insurance.
Team included three students and one faculty advisor.
Conducted mathematical analysis of the credit models. Made recommendations for improvement.
Coded in Excel using VBA. Created a programmers manual for further development.
Communicated daily with the Direct Competitive Intelligence Manager of Progressive.
Presented a formal report of results to the upper-level management.
