OBJECTIVE
To find a company that I can continue my career with. I am not seeking short term or temporary employment, but a company that has a need for my skills, where I can grow and be an asset to this company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Over ••••• years experience in the transportation industry as a CDL licensed class A driver.
Dock Worker: Load and unload trailers using hand trucks, carts, barrel dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts including attachments such as carpet poles, boom extensions, fork extensions.
Driver (local pickup and delivery): pickup and deliver shipments to and from customer docks or warehouse, load, unload, and secure shipments for transport. Complete all associated paperwork for each shipment. Create a friendly relationship with each customer to help insure future business.
Driver Trainer: Make weekly inspections of the facility noting any safety hazards and reporting them to the supervisors. Doing ride along evaluations of drivers. Giving safety briefings during pre shift meetings as well as montly employee meetings. Perform pre hire road tests of drivers. Teaching selected dock workers, over an 8 week Driver training class, how to safely operate a tractor trailer combination, how to properly shift and maneuver a tractor trailer combination. All paperwork involved in the handling of shipments. The proper paperwork, packaging, handling, securing, and transport of hazardous materials. Complete and transmit weekly training schedule to regional safety director and service center manager. Member of original Driver Trainer team for FedEx Freight to train and implement Electronic Driver Data Wands to all local drivers in southern California.
Line (over the road) Driver: Transport trialers from service center to service center. Sometimes in the same state (intrastate), sometimes out of state (interstate). Occasionally making multiple drops and picks of trailers before reaching my final destination. Being based out of California, the length of these trips were usually under ••••• miles a night.

Day Laborer
Perform various duties at customer locations as needed. Usually physical labor clearing and cleaning areas for the customer.
Some experience erecting large industrial tents for the Tucson Gem Show.

EMS (housekeeking), Linen Supply
Clean patient rooms and general areas of the hospital.
Take a daily inventory of linen levels in all areas of the hospital that use linen.
Load needed linen into mobile carts and distribute them throughout the hospital.
Order needed linen supplies from linen warehouse in Phoenix.
