As a student administrative assistant my tasks involved setting appointments, taking calls, and creating files and documents for the University. I would assist in various orientation meetings where I would showcase the Chaplains office as well as the diverse religious groups on campus and the advantages to getting involved. I also maintained a special project for spring break that was called the Civil Rights Pilgrimage. I also maintained the standard office duties and upkeep.

At this company I maintained a position as data entry clerk and file storage handler. It was my duty to maintain important documents and file them in storage boxes for various companies. I would keep track of them through computer programs and barcodes. I also did on-site work where it was necessary to collect and organize documents and materials at the clients address. I also did some accounting work that involved maintaining A/R and A/P and also payroll.

Customer service and department sales associate. In this position I would work at various departments in the Mervyns store as well as the customer service counter. While working in the office, I would be in charge of opening/closing the store which meant lighting and security, turning on and off all registers, counting out the money bags and contents, and maintaining merchandise. I would also set the schedule for the following day an answer/ transfer calls from customers.
