My tasks included arriving on site 5 minutes prior to the start of the work day in order to be ready at 7:•••••am. I would assist journeymen in everyday tasks, hanging pipe, running cable, and fitting up apartment buildings. I would also be tasked with checking each unit in the building to ensure our work and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.

My tasks included designing a power distribution system for an outdoor concert- Which includes: putting together the system on site, troubleshooting different gear that we use, helping the customers with problems they may have, and fixing any broken gear on site as we do not have enough time to just go get more gear, we need to remain on site at all times in case of emergency. I was also tasked with dealing with the individual performing acts staff (managers etc.) answering any questions they have or giving me lists of what they need for power requirements.

In this position I work mainly in a residential setting. I assist in installing and servicing permanent residential generators. I have gained familiarity with commercial wiring in this position as we also facilitate commercial clients. Troubleshooting is a major aspect of this position and I have gained lots of experience doing so. This position has allowed me to obtain over ••••• hours of valuable work experience in an electrical setting.

In this position I must regularly set up our audio system for live entertainment. I monitor the equipment throughout the show ensuring that the sound levels are perfect. I also answer any technical questions bands have about the audio system, house gear and more. It is imperative that I monitor our equipment to ensure that everything is working properly.

In this position I gained valuable experience in dealing with stressful and sometimes heated situations. I learned the ability to stay calm when under pressure. Heavy lifting was an aspect of this position as I had to change kegs and gather beer orders for the bar.
