Assistant Store Manager

Position: Assistant Manager
Job Duties: Regular rotation of many sections of the store to include electronics, apparel, front end, overnight stocking, dry grocery, and fresh departments. I have supervised up to ••••• associates at a time. I was responsible for obtaining sales, shrink and inventory goals for my area of responsibility. I performed customer service duties to ensure customers satisfaction. I was able to reduce shrink in the electronics department to one third of the previous years statistics and doubled the sales in that department. I evaluated associates performance evaluations in a formal setting and performed coaching for improvement and success with associates who were identified as needed additional training in order to make their tenure at Wal-Mart a success. I developed weekly schedules in order to have adequate coverage for my areas of responsibility. I enjoy working with a team and able to lead a team of associates in order to meet store goals and standards. I can read and implement "plan a grams". I enjoy developing associates skills watching them learn, grow and achieve their goals.
