Types of drawings drafted; cable tray, conduit, power, medium and low voltage single line diagrams, schematic & wiring diagrams, general arrangement, panel board schedules for power transformers, booster fans, absorber recycle pumps, distributed control systems (DCS) etc.

Design responsibilities consist of routing low and medium temperature refrigeration lines from compressor house racks to in store refrigeration cases. Restroom pluming and lighting fixture remodel design. Store parking light design, indoor lighting, and power drawing generation, special projects such as intercom and alarm systems design.

Cad Overlay draft existing scanned client drawings and create new electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and interconnection diagrams for upgrade of scrubber system, combustion control, burner management, balance of plant, data acquisition, soot blower, turbine controls, alarm, and distributive control systems of ••••• MW & ••••• MW coal fired power plants.

Design and Cad Draft site location layout and antenna type placement drawings for cellular wireless clients using survey electronic files for the land site development for the construction of monopole, self-support, guide, flagpole, & rooftop site antenna tower structures.

••••• ••••• Electrical Engineering Technician V/ Senior Technical Drafter/Schematics Designer. Design and draft electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for installation of control and protection instrumentation devices and elements utilized for monitoring operation systems facilitating power plants. Review and interpret power plant project operation system specifications, vendor device instrumentation, mechanical P&IDs and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) drawings. Interface with project control personnel to determine the desired control operation of systems being wired to the DCS. Submit system drawings to Quality assurance checker. Review and research checker comments and proceed with drawing issue process.

Manifest, gather, and compile client issues for mailing preparation. Schedule drafting production man-hours to meet project man-days. Coordinate engineering to drafting effort. Supervise and assess drafting group year-end performance evaluations. Coordinate with other technical groups involved with same project. Make decisions with respect to drawings and project input interpretation. Review work performed to determine accuracy with input as to whether quality standards have been met. Advise project engineer of situations encountered that would affect accuracy, quality, and completeness of drawings.

Compile map data from field surveys, Run electrical feeder lines to collect existing equipment, locations, types, quantities, etc. Prepare and update electrical, water distribution system maps, Street lighting maps and records. Maintain working contacts with electrical engineers, line crew, and water department. Maintain customer contacts to obtain addresses and location information. Utilize manual drafting tools to apply ink to mylar aerial base and primary circuit maps with data supplied from field checks, work order, and job order data, creating overhead circuit, underground circuit, street lighting, and multi street light maps using accepted BPU standards and procedures. Update entire electrical distribution system for electric operations trouble department. Update maps from work orders need by estimators in the preparation of their work order estimates. Redraw deteriorating system drawings.
