Public Service Evaluator III (Formerly known as Eligibility Interviewer)
Was responsible for interviewing participants and making eligibility determinations of food stamp, cash aid and medical benefits. Assisted needy families in attaining other necessary aid. Was in direct communication with other social service agencies, including, but not limited to other financial programs available (social security and Unemployment) utility assistance programs, legal aid, food banks, various agencies that assist the disabled, medical clinics, and the various city and county housing assistance programs. I was solely responsible for ensuring that upwards to ••••• families per month maintain their medical eligibility current. I set my own appointments and send my own notices.
