I started off as a cashier, but with good work ethics I grew to become a crew trainer. Im currently working on becoming a shift leader.
I would assist customers with any problems with their orders unless it involved management. If a guests chicken orders were incorrect I would just adjust it to fit their needs.
Keep a smile on your face and it will bring positive energy towards you. If you or the guests are in a bad mood when they see a person with a smile and positive energy it warms their heart and they smile. I m a very perky, happy person.
Once while getting inspected, Diane our inspector noticed that I encouraged all my coworkers to take it easy and stop being so tensed while she was there. I helped drive-thru, front line, and helped any and all guests. I received a gold star and certificate of appreciation for going above and beyond for Popeyes.
Communication
Ive read all the manuals and worked in all the areas in the restaurant, and I was able to break it down for my coworkers and show them guidelines for the areas that they worked.

Being as thou Ive read all the manuals regarding running certain areas in the restaurant I became Popeyes certified crew trainer. I was able to communicate with my coworkers and not to them making our work experience more accurate.
The owners of the establishment came to visit and I didnt know because I never met them. I was communicating to my coworkers about the new drive-thru time we were now assigned to do. My coworkers were discouraged that they werent going to be able to get the new time. I suggested a new drive-thru layout plan, and they felt a lot better about the new time and when we gave it a shot it worked. The owners appreciated how I helped and broke down the new regulations to my coworkers and they rewarded me with two movie tickets.

Cracker Barrel wasnt a job it was more so like my adopted family. We worked as a team; together we worked from cashing out orders, to folding and organizing clothes.
I familiarized myself with our guests and what they like to buy. When they would walk in I would have all of our new items that I believe theyll like and start telling its history. Every item that was sold in this establishment has a story, and I was there to learn it and share it.
