Current GPA: ••••• (Max: 4).•••••B.E(Bachelor of Engineering)in Mechanical Engineering,
graduated in •••••
University of Madras. INDIA.
Class obtained First Class.•••••PROJECTS & WORK EXPERIENCE:
•••••
Currently working as a Technology Consultant on three projects for Family Services Association, Mead Valley Community Complex located in Perris, California, a health care •••••e are designing and creating:A user friendly web enabled central database for central storage and data analysis as well as data mining,A JAVA JSP based scheduling system and networking for the organization.•••••UNIX Certified Programmer.
Worked as a UNIX kernel and shell programmer for Software Technology Group San Jose and obtained certification in Unix Operating systems programming.•••••Java and Database Projects
Class Scheduling System for the Computer Science ••••• project was to design and develop a web based class scheduling system (using JAVA, JSP,JDBC and SQL Programming tools) for the computer science department at Cal State University San ••••• required inputs from the instructors i.e. their time preference, course preference, and class room/lab preference to assign the complete operational schedule. •••••Web Based Co-Operative storage.
This Masters Project aimed at designing and developing a web based Co-Operative file Storage System and decision making software for encrypted file storage on the network at a Co-Operative Storage. The software helps users to store files and make decisions based on the credibility and the price comparisons of the vendor for storing the file at their location. •••••Networking Projects
Full Duplex Chat Program Using Sockets
This Project was done in C••••• using Sockets where the server waits on a pre specified port and a client connects to the same port on the machine where the server program is running. After the connection has been setup, both the client and the server can simultaneously send and receive the message across the machine.•••••RPC Insertion Sort using TCP/IP
This project aimed at running an insertion sort program on a remote server and getting back the sorted result on the client screen. This program was written in C using TCP/IP.•••••Comparison of Sequential and PVM program for the traveling salesman problem. The project was to write a Sequential traveling salesman program and the Distributed traveling salesman program using PVM and run the program up to ••••• fully connected nodes and then compare the performance of sequential program with the TSP program. •••••Distributed Networking using MPI
This project was to solve a complicated problem in Matrices using distributed Computing concepts. The architecture used here was based on the Message Passing Interface (MPI) method. •••••Mechanical Engineering Projects
Fertilizers and chemicals limited, Travencore, Cochin, India designed and implemented a pressure vessel (the air buffer compressor) based on American Standards of Mechanical Engineering(A.S.M.E) and American Petroleum Institute (A.P.I) Codes. •••••Shivani Locks Ltd., Faridabad, India
This project was done for the Suzuki Motors. My job involved work-flow analysis, assembly line management and time planning to be able to suggest and modify the processes for improving the production. Quality Analysis was also a critical component and was based on the ISO standards.•••••RELEVENT COURSES TAKEN (in Masters):
