Recruited in ••••• by Force Computers, Inc. - a division of Solectron that manufacturers custom computer systems and motherboards. Sole person responsible for making necessary modifications to and maintaining the system BIOS for the systems the company designed.


SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Recruited in ••••• as a senior Firmware/Diagnostic Engineer by NCR Corporation at that time a $6 billion electronic equipment, software and technical services company. Worked in a team writing and maintaining diagnostics and the system BIOS. In •••••, when the company switched its focus to object-oriented relational database software for data warehousing, retained as a senior Software Engineer.


DIAGNOSTIC ENGINEER

Recruited in ••••• by Parallan Computer, Inc. a regional manufacturer of computer systems for the retail market. Responsible for diagnostics for systems developed for resale by IBM.


SENIOR FIRMWARE/DIAGNOSTIC ENGINEER

Recruited in ••••• by Altos Computer Systems a leading UNIX-based computer systems manufacturer. Due to strong level of contribution, retained by Acer when it purchased Altos in ••••• to become Acer America. Worked in a team responsible for writing diagnostics to thoroughly test systems produced. The diagnostics were designed for use by manufacturing, field service, and by the end user.
