I have worked for the Department of Defense here in Richmond since ••••• Major duties have included purchasing under simplified acquisition and large purchase procedures for the Nuclear Reactor Program (NRP), which must maintain a •••••% stock availability goal; and serving as the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for Cherokee Information Services (CIS), performing pre and post award functions and reviewing small simplified and large purchases. I sign modifications to extend the terms and provisions of long-term contracts for additional option years. I am responsible for acquisition planning, which includs the solicitation of new procurements and the evaluation of the resultant incoming offers. I negotiate production lead times and process modifications when necessary. I answer contractor questions on procurement issues, and correspond with other offices.
