Historical Experience:
My degree in History gave me experience with specific time periods such as World War I to Medieval History and also gave me experience researching information. This knowledge helped me understand the basic principles of writing for scholarly sources and proper citation methods. I gained experience using persuasive arguments and creative writing by completing several essays and research projects.

English and Literature:
My minor in English helped me complete essays and research papers by supplying me with knowledge of grammar and syntax. This experience has helped me edit material and given me a keen eye for detail. I developed a creative flair for writing by participating in two creative writing workshops that gave me to the chance to create my own interesting stories and ideas.
