MATERIAL HANDLING & MANUFACTURING:

Developed versatile experience in the receiving, loading, transporting of raw materials and finished goods of varying size loads, from small packages to large steel coils. Loaded and unloaded rail cars, trucks and river barges.

Functioned independently and as a team member, performing various line and production support tasks to support a continuous manufacturing process. Iron making, hot and cold strip steel rolling, galvanize and tin operations.

EMERGENCY & SAFETY SERVICES:

Frequent training to meet progressive public and industrial emergency services regulations.

Conducted fire risk, safety, fire extinguisher, and suppression system inspections and preventive maintenance; fire watch, accurately documented same in a heavy industrial environment.

LEADERSHIP:

Appointed acting crew chief for 6 years at the Weirton Steel Fire Department comprised of ••••• direct and indirect personnel; also volunteered at various community emergency response teams.

Served as line officer, administrative officer, Infection Control Officer, and Training Officer for various community volunteer fire departments.

Interfaced with city, county, state, and federal legislative leaders; championed comprehensive planning and land use studies, county codes, ordinances, web site development, and related economic development initiatives.
