Support the day-to-day operations of the in-house Engineering Department.

operate power tools (table saw, mortise machine, planer, jointer, sander, lathe, radial arm saw, drill press, band saw) and hand-held tools (saws, planers, router, drills, sanders

remove walls, hang and finish drywall, install partitions

install, fit and repair hardware for doors (locks, knobs, hinges, kick plates, stops)

hang drop ceilings and replace ceiling tile, lay carpet, floor tile and linoleum

assemble desks, chairs, computer stands, bed frames, armoires, lights and fixtures

repair furniture, hang pictures and banners

hang drapes and repair tracks for drape pulls

erect and dismantle temporary outdoor fencing

read blueprints to determine materials needed for carpentry projects

supervised ••••• apprentices and one full-time journeyman during yearly renovations

order and store materials needed for all carpentry work

perform other general building maintenance requiring carpentry skills


Licensed forklift operator.
