He is also assisting in the placement of concrete pavement.

This project was the complete rebuild of US••••• changing it from a two lane road to a four lane divided hwy. with concrete pavement and lime stabilized roadbed. Project cost was ••••• million. Completion date was November ••••• Mr. ••••• was responsible for the daily inspection of the concrete paving operations.
&#•••••; I••••• Shawnee expressway in Louisville Ky. This project was a complete rebuild of the existing 8 miles of roadway and bridges. Project cost was ••••• million. Completion date was January ••••• Mr. ••••• was in charge of the bridge rebuilding. This included removal and replacement of the decks, parapet walls, and the beams on ••••• bridges.
&#•••••; Greenbelt Hwy. Louisville Ky. This was a new construction project of a four lane divided hwy. with partially controlled access. The project consisted of grade and drain, concrete pavement and twin bridges over a small creek. Project cost was 8 million. Completion date was November ••••• Mr. ••••• was the chief project inspector over all phases of construction with subordinate inspectors to help with the concrete paving.

This project was for the building of a new rest area facility with concrete ramps, parking lots and sidewalks as well as the rest area buildings and extensive landscaping. Project cost was 4 million. Completion date was December ••••• Mr. ••••• was the chief project inspector on this project along with subordinate inspectors to assist in paving and utility inspection. The building inspection was a new challenge as it was unrelated to road construction. There were many different codes to be adhered to. The landscaping was vast with over ••••• trees and seedlings along with wild flower seeding. The project has become a model for other rest areas in Kentucky.

Along with the rebuilding of various interchanges as well as side roads. The projects began in ••••• and continued through ••••• with a cost of approximately ••••• million. All of these projects were controlled by the same resident engineers office in Bullitt county. Mr. •••••s duties were to be an assistant to the chief project inspector. Those included all aspects of the work. Such as bridge, roadway inspection, utility relocation, surveying, material sampling and testing.
