Unix Systems Administrator: Was a member of the tier II frontline support team for all of the major HP servers across their entire WAN (the largest such WAN in the world). Worked with the system managers for the resolution of countless software, and hardware issues on the major HPUX servers from Mexico to Canada, and from Germany to Australia. I used tools such as BLT, ITO, and many web based custom tools for event tracking and reporting. I also resolved innumerable system backup issues using Omniback, and all of its associated tools. This position required an intimate knowledge of Unix, networking, and hardware from multi-million dollar EMC arrays, and HP systems from A-Z.

Unix Systems Administrator: Supported all of the Unix systems for an R&D team at HP. Ordered, built, installed, and maintained 5 major servers, as well as about ••••• UNIX workstations. Converted a major website from a Microsoft environment to a UNIX one for increased stability. Supervised the team of technicians who executed the programs. Analyzed the resultant data, and created graphs using Excel of the current state of the printer. Coordinated with outside consultants for the resolution of errors to the firmware for the printer, as well as the initial testing, distribution, and installation of all firmware updates for the team.
