As a HTBS worker I work with children who have Autism and I work one on one with a child at his/her home. I continue the educational goals that are performed at school and reinforce them at home. In reviewing the ABA format, I practice simple everyday tasks with the child.

As an Associative Teacher I taught young minds how to write, learn the letters of the alphabet and so much more. I would also help in planning the academic schedule for each week.

I was a teacher for young children, in teaching them how to say their alphabet, speak new words and to share with friends among other learning tools.

My job at the learning center is to teach young children colors, shapes and objects and much more. As a teacher I am able to watch the minds develop and expand, as each learns in different ways.

I taught special needs students ages ••••• in an ••••• grade setting. I taught in the classroom as well as out in the field. Vocational and IEP goals would be written quarterly. I received training in restraints, how to handle a stressful situation and how to place an individual in a safe restraint without that student or the staff getting injured.
