Printing Assistant

DUTIES
My daily duties included: productively operating the the IBM ••••• Printers,using
the Local Area Network (LAN) and Telecommunication Protocol (TCP/IP) to initiate
print jobs, monitor the status of jobs and to make print queues available.
Trained new employees on the printing and enclosing operations. I was
responsible for accurately loading all system components with the appropriate
check or paper stock to perform the required jobs. I also operated the Gunther
Enclosing System and the RISK which required me to be able to start up and shut
down the system. This was for the purpose of disburing and processing payments
for IRS, Social Security, federal salary, non-error/error payments and offset
checks and letters. I updated system logs and registers and correctly maintained
machine and stock usage. In addition to these duties, I assisted with the
BDMOC/Mailsort Daily Totals Report. This report is an account of the mail that
did not process or was rejected when Mailsort processed them through their
system. I also assisted with the Digital Scanning Technician with typing new
address labels for letters that were returned for incorrect name and/or address.
